Surbitonian Gardens is an exceptional new care home in Surbiton, Surrey. They offer residents a wide range of facilities and quality care in a home-from-home environment.

Anavo Group, one of the UK’s foremost care home managers, approached PD about Surbitonian Gardens, the latest property in its ever-growing portfolio.

With its opening day imminent, both brand identity and design, build and implementation of their website was required immediately. It needed to present the new property as the jewel in the crown of its portfolio, along with its full range of services, accommodations and with user ability to register interest.

The home’s mandate was different in that it also serves as a community hub and gathering place for residents’ families and friends to spend fun, meaningful time together. Where possible, residents are supported and encouraged to continue pursuing the hobbies, passions and interests they enjoyed previously.

What their unique approach to care meant was taking a similarly unique approach to the overall design and feel of the website. Following competitor research, PD came up with an appealing design aesthetic which though warm and inviting avoided the standard, more sombre care home website look, instead accentuating the more upbeat “lifestyle” positivity of the home’s mission statement.

This tone was employed across its digital presence online and on social media, with PD and its sister agencies successfully creating the innovative “Feel Free To Be” marketing campaign to announce the opening of the care home across digital, out of home and radio.
